El campo de las Ciencias de los Materiales combina disciplinas, incluyendo ingeniería, química y bioquímica con otras tecnologías, para investigar y desarrollar nuevos materiales para uso en fabricación. Este campo en crecimiento prepara a los estudiantes para trabajar resolviendo problemas a escala global, a medida que los recursos naturales se ven amenazados.
